Born from a Mother’s Love

Named in honour of Chef Diego Reali’s mother, Stefania Cristofari, the restaurant reflects a deep-rooted family legacy of Italian cooking. Stefania Cristofari, a renowned chef in Rome, has been a source of inspiration for the restaurant’s traditional Roman dishes. The Reali family’s heritage dates back to the opening of Hosteria Amedeo in 1958, which has been passed down through generations.

At Stefania, that same passion for Italian food is brought to Kuala Lumpur, allowing diners to experience the authentic taste of Rome.

About Chef Diego

Born from a Mother’s Love

Chef Diego Reali, born in Rome, is a third-generation chef with a rich culinary background. Trained by his mother and grandmother, Diego’s career spans Europe and Asia, where he has led the kitchens of top Italian restaurants such as Vineria, Blvd House, Nero Nero and Natalina in Kuala Lumpur. His mission is to share his cultural love for authentic Roman cuisine to Malaysia, with a modern twist that honours tradition. His passion for crafting dishes rooted in family recipes shines through every plate served at Stefania.
